ePROOF, the new safety system developed by Eika

Eika, the cooking appliance component and system manufacturer, has just developed a new fire safety system for radiant heaters that incorporates an electronic energy regulator and a sensor.

This new system prevents fires in unattended cooking sessions. If the cooking conditions reach certain levels, a red light starts blinking and power input of the heater is automatically reduced. When the system returns to a safe status, it becomes green and full power returns.

It complies with UL 858-60A (Coil heater conditions)
